The Dominant Relationship
If you look at whats gone and the time thats been lost,
Chasing the unworthy, finance not the only cost.
The spirit of us all it takes an emotional ride,
Not all get through unscathed, and happy inside.
I think we've all seen a woman with fear in her life,
This strange image she has of the dutiful wife.
She does for this fool whatever he wants,
When all she craves is nice human response.
The day he met you, wasn't he was really in luck,
Another mother figure only one he could fuck.
Not enough moments to recover yourself
And protect whats inside and not lose your health.
At your families place he thrives on the vex,
Then takes it out on you with unloving sex.
What do you see that makes us all blind?
He never has nice thoughts or one ounce of kind.
Perhaps you banged your head as a child?
To see you cowering, it makes me so wild.
Your children are used as an emotional tool,
Or whenever this bastard just wants to be cruel.
A visual reminder of your permanent bond,
Though of his kids personalities, he isn't fond.
So if you wake up one day and finally decide,
That this wanker you married, you'd rather he died.
Then please take my card and give me a call,
It'll look like an accident or some kind of fall.
Once out in the world, please fulfill your dreams,
Because to look back in anger is not reflective it seems,
Respect of your views and love of the self,
Get that in a man and it's better than wealth.
